Wildlife of The Cairngorms - in support of The Highland Hospice

BofG invite website copy

My thanks to everyone who came along to support my pop-up exhibition in Boat of Garten in aid of The Highland Hospice, a wonderful charity which cares for those affected by terminal illness.  We had a great turn out despite the cold, dark and blustery evening and it was a pleasure to meet so many knowledgeable people full of enthusiasm for Scotland's native wildlife, including the red squirrel, water vole and the Scottish wildcat!  This year Cairngorm National Park celebrated it's 10th Anniversary.  The area is home to a quarter of the UK's native species so there is plenty to inspire me to keep painting local wildlife with lots of Celtic patterns, tartans and plaids!  You can read more about the Park and Hospice by clicking on the logos which will take you to their websites.  You can also see all the new paintings up on the website or alternatively browse through the album of Scottish wildlife on Facebook by clicking the link in the sidebar.
